The Swedish Security Service cooperates mainly with police authorities and other law enforcement agencies. On the international level, we cooperate with other security and intelligence services.
National cooperation
The Swedish Security Service is an expert authority. We provide other law enforcement authorities with information and expertise relating to the White Power and the autonomous scenes. General information on the subject is provided in the form of lectures. We also assist police authorities in their investigations. When it comes to offences against the Freedom of the Press Act involving agitation against an ethnic group, we cooperate with the Chancellor of Justice. In such instances, the focus is on expertise in the area of right-wing extremism and the White Power scene.
International cooperation
On the international level, the Swedish Security Service cooperates with other security and intelligence services. This cooperation mainly involves an exchange of experiences as regards trends and modus of the extremist scenes. As both sides to a certain extent cooperate with like-minded people in an international context, the Security Service does is in some cases exchange more operative information with other security and intelligence services.
